2000 Professional，Windows 2000 Server和Windows 2000 Advanced Server。从2月17日开始，Windows
2000的英语、德语、日语（两种版本）、法语、西班牙语、意大利语、瑞典语、荷兰语、朝鲜语以及巴西语等10种不同语言的版本将在全球60多个国家正式推出。Windows
2000的中文版于3月20日在中国正式与用户见面。

NT4.0 MCSE升级到Windows 2000 MCSE
对于已经通过Windows NT4.0 的MCSE，升级考试可以考70-240一门，加上从70-219、70-220、70-221三门考试中选一门，共2门考试。
注：70-240:可以替代4门必考的Windows
2000核心考试（70-210,70-215,70-216,70-217），但必须先通过了3门Windows
NT4.0的考试（70-73,70-67,70-68）,70-240才能有效，70-240的考试有效期为2001年12月31日，70-240的考试将于2000年6，7月份开始，中国地区此门考试是免费的，但每位考生只有一次考试资格。详情敬请查询：www.prometric.com.cn/aptc。
网络知识是Windows 2000的基本要求，所以70-58
Netwroking Essentials也在2000年12月31日退休。相关的知识将包含在：70-216:
